We were very glad to host a group of students from the Netherlands on a study trip this April. Most of our visitors were in Asia for the first time and we were genuinely honoured to be part of their Hong Kong itinerary.
The visit started with a presentation on the Fringe Club by Cat. Benny also graced the visit, making a short and light-hearted introduction to the presentation. After being briefly introduced to our multi-national work team, our guests proceeded to enjoy Cat's engaging delve into Fringe Club's history. And it was a colourful history indeed!
After hearing about the myriad of resident artists and heritage projects Fringe was previously involved in, our visitors went shutter happy with a series of massive group shots (below). Having upped the mood, we skipped off to view the rest of the Fringe Club building.
First up, we dropped by the Fringe Theatre. There, our guests could see much of how the Fringe Club has adapted our operations to this odd shaped building that was originally meant as a warehouse.
Next, we trooped upstairs to the Fringe Studio and finally the highly anticipated roof garden. Attracted by the oasis of peace amidst the city that is our roof garden, our guests went shutter happy once again and then settled down happily to a jolly round of beers and wines.
Obviously contented with the drinks and ambiance, we left our special guests to enjoy their drinks at the fotogalerie. And that rounded up yet another wonderful visit to the Fringe Club.
